As part of our summer vacation this year, we visited Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado. We had gone there two years before, and the kids loved it. It was last on our trip, so we were worried we'd be able to fit it in. The delight on our children's faces says it all. It should have been a priority!
There is a creek to get dirty in.

It is like part desert, part beach, part flying.
